Recent Research Alliances

Zoetis and Bio-Sourcing, an animal health biotech headquartered in Liege, Belgium, are expanding a research partnership, started in 2012, to produce biopharmaceuticals for the animal health market. The companies are exploring the potential of Bio-Sourcing’s unique bio-production technology platform to help manufacture complex therapeutic proteins such as monoclonal antibodies in large volumes at potentially reduced costs. Through this collaboration, Bio-Sourcing will adapt for animal health use the rPRO^® technology platform, under exclusive license from strategic partner LFB and already validated in human health applications. The company will apply this technology to producing monoclonal antibodies for use in different animal health species.
